Who are you?
We are a team of young volunteers who are passionate about supporting young professional talent in Wellington. Check out our history below and the current committee here.
WYP was established in 2008 by 11 young, professional Wellingtonians who were keen to bring the success of the cross-industry ‘Young Professionals’ concept to Wellington.
The industry neutral networking concept came from a Christchurch group of like-minded individuals from a variety of occupations. They saw the benefit of interacting with each other on a regular basis, broadening their personal networks beyond their work and university peers.
