Thinking about starting a business? Don’t know how? This event is for you taking place on the 26th of February at Xero Wellington, 19/23 Taranaki Street, Te Aro, Wellington 6011.
Showcasing 4 experts on a specifically selected panel, we will focus on lived experiences and expert insight across different parts of the business journey. Rather than focusing on theory or polished success stories, we will be delving deep into building a business, supporting growth, and bringing people along through change.
Our experts on the panel consist of:
Neriah Broughton: Product Builder/ Former Business Owner (Agri-tech App) Neriah founded and developed a health and safety management app for use on New Zealand farms. Her work received national recognition, including the 2016 New Zealand Workplace Health & Safety Award for Best Health and Safety Initiative by a Small Business, and the TechNZISM award from the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management.
Elliot Royce: Elliot is the Founder and Director of Beyond Potential, where he works closely with founders, business owners, and leadership teams to help them navigate growth, scale, and complexity. With over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership, governance, and transformation roles, Elliot brings a grounded, practical perspective on what it takes to build businesses that are both successful and sustainable.
Dr Colin Kennedy: Dr. Colin Kennedy, Chief Growth Officer at Creative HQ and Founder of its School of Innovation, is a global leader in innovation and innovation education. With 25+ years in education and leadership roles – including at Fulbright NZ and Victoria University of Wellington – he builds startup mindsets and innovation capability across sectors.
Archer Yang: Archer co-founded Late to work Studio with Kerryn and Stacey in New Zealand. Late to work studio is an online accessories retailer and was launched in November 2024 and currently boasts 13,000 followers on instagram with customers from New Zealand, Australia and the USA. With 7 years of experience in media design in numerous roles within the public sector, Archer brings forth a fresh perspective to new innovators wanting to create and build a business to pursue their passion while also working in a corporate role.
We will then have a Q&A from the audience for our fellow panelists and a discussion.
