WYP are excited to partner with Momentum Consulting to host ‘Off the Beaten (Career) Path: How to Navigate the Unexpected’.
When most professionals introduce themselves, they appear to have a smooth, well-planned career trajectory. In reality, they have likely faced a number of setbacks and redirections that led them down their ultimate career path.
At this panel event you will hear from 3 professionals who have all said “yes!” to unexpected opportunities.They will share their stories and experiences and field any questions you have.
First up is Nick Roberts, a qualified Accountant with 20 years of working experience. Nick has worked for Samsung, ABN Amro, UBS, The New York Stock Exchange to name a few! His big shift came with the opportunity to be owner and CEO of Momentum Consulting, a recruitment business.
Previously a successful marketer at Clemengers, Bernadette Sharkey-Burns is now a ‘super mum’ having established herself as one of New Zealand’s most successful recruiters. She delivered many of the marketing professionals to the health sector during the pandemic.
Also on the panel is Jack Green – one of their newest hires. Jack studied an LLB and for 4 years went down the ‘well-trodden path’ of law before deciding he needed more from his career and switched to recruitment.
